Ved Puran collects the four Vedas and the Puranas in one app, which is the pairing most readers actually want: the Vedic corpus and the Puranic literature that grew from it.
The Vedas are present in full — Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda and Atharvaveda — alongside the major Puranas and a range of supporting texts. For a reader working through the corpus rather than returning to a single favourite passage, having them in one place matters more than any individual feature.
Texts are organised by book and section so a specific mandala, kanda or chapter can be reached directly rather than scrolled to, and the app works offline once the texts are downloaded.
It is aimed at readers comfortable in Hindi and Sanskrit; the presentation follows the traditional divisions of each work rather than reorganising them thematically.
