Roblox is a platform rather than a single game: millions of user-created experiences run inside one client, spanning obstacle courses, role-play worlds, tycoon simulators and competitive shooters. You move between them from a single account, and everything you own — avatar items, friends list, progress — travels with you.
The same account works across Windows, Android and iOS, with cross-play between all of them. Creating is part of the platform too: Roblox Studio lets anyone build and publish an experience, and creators can earn from what they make. The client is free, with optional Robux currency for in-experience purchases.
Roblox Corporation has run the platform since 2006, developing both the client and Roblox Studio, the free tool its creator community uses to build and publish experiences.
